Possible Video Card Tech Help

Hey my computer has been acting a little funny in the last few days and I thought it might be related to the video card.

The problem is that sometimes when I power on my computer, no display comes up. Often it takes a few times of me using the emergency restart (holding down the button) to get a display. One time I just waited and heard the windows welcome tune, and was able to log in without any display. So I obviously thought it was a graphics card issue, just wanted a little extra opinion before I go spend $200+ on a new card. BTW I run the 8800 gtx (or GTS dont remember). If any other specs are needed, just ask and I can look em up I think. (PSU is 650 watts)

hmm, the does sound like a video issue. make sure all the cord are nice and snug and everything. and you dont need to spend $200+, a 9800gt is only like $93

Well if I am getting a new card, might as well go big =P and yea I think I'll go ahead and buy a new card tomorrow, thanks!
 
This sounds like a power supply issue to me.

Please post full system specs. Download PC Wizard from my sig and install it. Go to FILE< SAVE AS and click OK. Then save that text file and copy its contents into this thread.

Also, open the case of your computer and tell us the make and model of that PSU - because wattage means little.
