possibly phishing?

verizon.net takes you too "http://www22.verizon.com/ForHomeDSL/channels/dsl/forhomedsl.asp?verizon_referrer=volnet" which dosn;t seem right, esspecail the www22. and the net and everything, and ussaly they wouldn't e-mail you with something that says admisitrator ussaly it would but like customoer support of something, also their real site is "http://www.verizonwireless.com"

If you think it may be real, then phone Verizon to confirm. If not, just delete it.

I have been getting phishing spams for a bank in the US (I am Canadian), I saw that the URL did not take me to www.southstreetbank.com, but instead to something like www.accountfix.support.southernbank.com.(IP here) etc. it was long enough that it looked okay in the first part of the browser window, but not HTTPS ;) . Also, they were smart enough to hotlink the banner from the real bank site, and use the banks CSS file. I just filled the email and pass fields full of obscenities and submitted that; they thanked me and said that my account had been updated :D

Don't reply or enter anything at that link, if you want to make sure it is/isn't legimate as said before call verizon customer support. From what you've posted about the email it looks like a phising attempt and that usually means it is.
