Those are pretty impressive.

I'm averaging ~9.6Mb down and 350kbps up on speakeasy now. Wireless, shared with 4-5 other computers.

I think I'll lower the bar for all of us. My connection caps at 45kb down (That's bytes not bits) and about 20kb up. Can't get anything faster in my area :( .

I've got 10Mbps both ways which is pretty much the standard fiber around here. I'm hopefully getting something better soon though, theres 24, 26 as well as 100Mbps available.

here re my results:

terrible speed in comparison with everyone elses, only 1 meg adsl, but its the fastest i can get without going for Satellite, there is no cable in my area and i am too far away form the exchange to get any faster

Where in the UK are you? Im in the far far north of scotland, but still get 2MB. Should hopefully be getting upgrading to 8MB sometime. (Bt Yahoo)

Download Speed: 431 kbps (53.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 104 kbps (13 KB/sec transfer rate)

lol, my first broadband connection, ADSL 512/128, at least better than 56k

Staffordshire, near alton towers. I connect to the cheadle exchange but am around 2-3 miles from it, and it only has a maximum of 2 meg anyway, hopefully it'll get upgraded soon, then maybe i'll have 2 meg-ish

and my school only has 2 meg, not sure about up, and i use most of it when i can get into an IT room downloading stuff :P

Well, there's def. something wrong with one site I tried....it's saying I can dl at 16.52 mb/s on a cable modem shared by 3 computers on a wireless network. Most other ones agree that my dl is in the 500-650kbps range, upload in the 300-500kbps range.
