Scout...did you notice much diffrence in temps removing the HDD rack and mounting that fan?

Ive mounted a 160mm intake fan on the front of my case...its in the top 3 bays and my cdrw drives are now in the last two bays.

works pretty well.

Hard to say really...When I cut the hard drive racks out I also replaced the motherboard. The Asus board I had ran hot, the NB was a small nuke plant I swear

I just wanted to open it up a little

The white one is still in progress (as its sitting in primer and test hardware and waiting on some plexi work). It's scheduled to be done by March for Digital Overload (LAN). And the Rocketfish one, that was at the beginning of the mod, which got finished, but I never took more pictures as I was out of a camera then.

Your fan mod helps a lot, surprising the difference a tiny fan can make.

Not a case mod but, I got bored

Took my old CM fans and made an external cooler
