Post Your Start Up Time

I thought I would resurrect an old fun thread. I just did the test and after my BIOS loads it is 52 seconds until my Windows XP Service Pack 3 is ready to use. My system specifications are as follows:

Processor: AMD Phenom II 940 Quad-Core Deneb (3.0 gigahertz)
Motherboard Version: GIGABYTE GA-M78SM-S2H SOCKET AM2+
Video card: Asus ATI Radeon HD4670 model number EAH4670/DI/1GD3/V2
Random Access Memory: 2 gigabytes PC2-6400 Super Talent
Hard Drive: 232 gigabyte Seagate Barracuda Model ST3250310AS

I think my hard drive is pretty slow. My Linux Ubuntu 9.04 starts up faster.

Edit: My Linux Ubuntu 9.04 has a start up time of 36 seconds.

My reboot takes 115 seconds from desktop to desktop.
This seems long compared with other posts, but I have a golden reboot that gives my original and clean system back everytime I reboot. That's why I don't have any software problems anymore.

I have XP, 7 and Ubuntu on my netbook.

Windows XP SP3

From BIOS to desktop to IE = 47 seconds.

Second attempt *removed all programs on startup* = 31 seconds.

All that ^^^ was with me typing a password in too.

Ubuntu 10.04 = 26 seconds. Much better.

Win7 Starter = 50 seconds from BIOS>Desktop>IE

attempt 2 *removed all programs on start up, including voice control?*

= 35 seconds
:)

I just went through and turned off automatic Java updates and tinkered around with my start up. Now after my BIOS loads it is close to 48 seconds until my Windows XP Service Pack 3 is ready to use. My system specifications are as follows:
