Postage From A US Site To The UK?

cant think of any but would have thought it could work out bit more expensive than getting it here, postage costs plus the tax on it enterting the country could push it up considerably

Yeah, but if i ordered a whole computer in parts it should be cheaper than getting it over here.
 
doesnt look like any of the major distributors will deliver over here, going to smaller ones will result in higher cost i think. Even in just parts im sure the import tax would throw it up a hell of a way and put the price over what it would cost here, will have a little search though and see if i can spot any
 
Wouldn't it be cheaper to try and get some parts from Germany? From what I've seen, they have quite good prices compared to the ones in the UK.

Never thought about that, do you know of any german sites that deliver to the UK?

Not really, I only know a music store that ships everywhere in the EU. Finnish owners and founders, but is in Germany.
 
I struggle to make out what the descriptions are for them being in german, there are a few parts on ebay slightly cheaper but not worth the postage.

You could learn German... :P But seriously, even with shipping costs, is it really that much cheaper to buy from the US?
 
The prices over here are terrible, 3-4 months ago I paid £370 for my X2 4400 64bit. I think thats around $650-$700
