This may be easy, i dont know.

I have to chart the power for this room ill be hosting lan's in.

I need to know how much a computer would generate.
An average computer with monitor.

Is there an easier way of testing?

Thank you.

It depends on the power supply, and what's in the computer. I believe that even though a power supply may be 500w that doesn't mean that it will constantly be pulling 500w, only as much as is required to run it's components. A PC with one HDD, one CD-ROM, and nothing else will use a lot less than an computer with an overclocked processor, RAM, and videocard, and several drives. As far as monitors go, I don't know the numbers, but a bigger screened monitor will use more than a smaller, and the flat panel LCDs use a lot less than the boxy CRTs.

could i also find the max on the outlets and tell the lanners about it and stuff?

ill check that site and other thing

thank you all
