Lol

Well maybe you are not shutting down but going into standby. If that is not the problem, then maybe you are facing a problem wither with the motherboard or the PSU itself. Simply said, the command to shut down the PSU is not doing its job.

so is my problem psu related?? its a ttji or ttgi or something its just a cheep power supplly but help? do i need a new one if so whats teh best one for the money.. i wouldnt mind it being cable wrapped already..

Do you have access to another psu you can swap to test? If you throw another psu in and shutdown and fans stop spinning and such, you know its your current psu that is the problem.

i dont have access to another one.. i would have to buy one.. but what i dont understand is if the psu had problems then y does the computer run fine??

just because it has a problem doesnt mean it wont run fine, a coded applet will still compile and even run even if it doesnt do what its supposed to and do it properly......

by looking at the symptoms io would say, yes, it is the power supply, if it was the motherboard then you would see instability whilst in windows etc.... I would say it is the PSU.
