I plan on snipping the power LED and HDD LED wires and connecting them to an alternative source of power, most likely a wall socket (meaning they will constantly be on unless unplugged). I was hoping to find out the volts each light consumes? And if anyone has done this wall socket modification before, any tips? I was planning on cutting the wires from an old phone charger and just connecting them with the led wires, of course it is most likely to much power for the led's to handle. Do you think 9v is ok? I have other chargers with fewer volts and will check those out. Most likely you guys require more information to help me, in which I will oblige you with what you ask. Thanks!
