Power Pins

Do all motherboards have power pins? I'm trying to build a computer, and I want to test this motherboard, but I can't turn it on on. When I plug th e power supply in, the little LED lights up, but I don't think this means it's on.
So, now I'm looking for two little pins that say PWR_ON, but I can't find anything thing that even says Power. So are there motherboards that don't have power pins?

The case connections are on the lower right corner, below the IDE ports. For the case power button it should be PWR/SW. If its not marked on the board its probably in the manual, guess you could still download it from XFX or Azza.

that is your motherboard? If so, those pins at the very bottom left are where all of your case cables go for power and reset buttons and power/HDD LEDs

Thanks for your help guys. That's my motherboard. I put a screwdriver on the two pins that say PW. It didn't turn on. I think it's becauase I don't have a CPU?

did u plug in the 20 pin molex? also if you dont got a cpu you should get some post beeps.

Power pins are very much essentials for the motherboard. The discussion provided by is very much useful and provides the best knowledge to us.

Why would you try to power it up without a CPU?
