power problem

hi all,

i have a fuji-simens amilo d7850 laptop.

to get the power supply to work i have to push the lead in as hard as i can to get it to connect, and after a while it must lose the connection as it works free a bit and i lose power.

is this common?? can it be fixed? i cant get to the power input on the laptop when i take the bottom plate off.

no just started, just seems that i have to force the power lead right into the laptop to get it to connect otherwise no power.
