I'm building a a new system and have purchased all of the components except the power supply. While I've learned a lot Over the years, hardware, software etc. my understanding of power requirements is still premature. This is what I've bought - mobo - ASUS M4A79T Deluxe
CPU- Amd phenom II x4 3.2 ghz
Video card- Sapphire Ati hd 4890
Ram - Mushkin Redline 6 gigs, 3 x 2 gb
hard drives, had them already, 2 sata.
and my disk drives
I'm already approaching the limits of my saved up funds, so any advice is appreciated.

Try to get something thats at least 650. You could prob slide by with a 500 or so, but to be safe go with a 650 or bigger. Theres a site that shows you power requirements let me link you. It may not be 100% accurate, and some other users might have a better link.
