Power Question...

Maybe you guys have a thought on the small dillema that I am in right now... I have a Dell Dimension 4400. My problem is that I have a small 250 Watt PSU. Connected to that already is 2 optical drives, 2 hard drives, a floppy drive and a zip drive. My question is, if I also hook up the power to my Leadtek GeForce 6600 video card, will that overload the PSU? I know you can just go buy a new one, but I really would rather not be in that situation... :)

I think even without all those drives you'd be pushing that PSU. I'm qutie sure the requirements are something around a 350watt... I mean don't those also require the additional power? I know my 6800 has something for 2 molex connections.

Well, I guess that kinda answers that..., good thing is that I've never had both drives running at the same time... So, do I go ahead and plug this card in, or should I take the more cautious approach and replace the PSU now to avoid risking damage other parts other than the PSU?
