Are all these parts compatible with each other? Any advice on upgrading/downgrading welcome.

Also I am stumped on what power supply to get I have no idea

Here’s the memory specs for the motherboard

Memory3.jpg

The manual specifies DDR2 800/667, either two DS, (double sided), modules or four SS, (single sided), modules.

The memory compatibility list for that motherboard,

Memory1.jpg

lists these 2 GB Kingston modules as compatible, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134192&Tpk=KVR667D2N5/2G

A pair would be 4 GB.

That looks better. Unfortunately PC Pacific does not list the model # of the products so you can't check it against the Memory Compability List in the motherboard manual. While many modules that are not on the list will run fine, the list has the modules that have been tested in that particular motherboard and you can purchace with more confidence of compatibility. The one linked above looks good though, and Kingston makes good products.

So is this better?

That should work. Unsure about the power supply though - The site lists no information about it whatsoever.

Can’t say about how well it would play those games as I haven’t played them. Looks like the video card might hold you back. Here’s a GPU hierarchy chart that shows the 3650 at the thirteenth tier down. Can you find a 3850 in your price range? Should be just a few $ more and it’s a lot higher in the hierarchy chart.

Yeah a 4850 is a pretty good card, equal to a 9800GTX+/GTS 250. But your running into getting a better Power Supply to power it.

UItima600, what country do you live in and what is the price of the E8200 processor you are looking at?

Some of the Core 2 Duo processors are very overpriced and you would be better off going with a Core 2 Quad processor (better value for your money).

The Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 is $81 less than the processor you are looking at and is decent. The Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 is also less expensive and a better alternative than the E8200 processor.
