Power supply comp w asus p4s800 (link attached)

I have an asus p2s800 power supply, the power supply is failing and I was wondering if somone could suggest a cheap power supply that will fuel this motherboard. This is a low end computer with a pentium 4 3.0ghz

The motherboard is one of several components that needs to be considered when deteriming the right PSU. WHat system are you refering to in the "other" computer?

512 Ram
Nvidia 6800 AGP
ATX case
60 gb IDE hardrive
Asus MObo listed above

Running windows XP Home edition... Computer lives in Europe (Germany)

Check out the Corsair PSUs if you dont mind going for something not so cheap. My 520 says its SLI certified, but to be more sure, they have 650-750 models that wouldnt ever have me worrying.

Your board and case arre ATX so they will fit.

Any decent 500Watt PSU on newegg.com will work.

awesome guys thanks for your help. O bigfella. I can not find a name anywhere on this cheap PSU... So i just need a 20 pin atx psu w enough amps out to power the mobo and im good

I would suggest the Corsair 450W as your minimum in terms of power and quality.
