Power Supply Failure?

So yesterday while playing Need For Speed Shift my computer immediatly shut off and won't turn back on. I assume it was a power supply failure (the supply was running pretty hot and it was a shitty power supply just waiting to burn out.

If it helps, I took out all the connectors and re-installed them after a couple hours, still won't turn on, but when I press the power button every once in a while I will get a fraction of a turn from my main fan and my power light will blink then it is off again.

Just want to make sure you guys think its a power supply failure, and if so, how would a Thermaltake 500w work out, this 500w has lasted quite a while.

Definately sounds like a PS issue. Replace it. And you definately don't want to be using any cheap unit on your system or you'll be asking for problems. Hopefully nothing else went out on your system.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, I kinda skimped on the case/psu and now I regret it, I will be installing a Thermaltake 500w tonight, hopefully all is well.
