Power supply Question follow up

A few days ago I asked this same question of whether or not my power supply listed below can support the parts listed below, and It was confirmed that it would indeed work. But now my question is, am I just barely meeting the requirement, or am I at a pretty spot?


Here's what I got:
MSI Z77A-G45 Intel ATX Motherboard,

Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor

SAPPHIRE 100352-2L Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16

and I want to make sure it runs on my
OCZ Fatal1ty 550W Modular Gaming Power Supply

Yea almost meeting it. You are looking to feed low power to high end system? 550W is minimum required for 7950, but since you probably will overclock the CPU, mostly the GPU too, I will recommend nothing less than 650W PSU.

I'd get a higher wattage unit just to give yourself a bit of headroom, 550W is pretty much the bare minimum for the 7950. I'd get a 650W to be safe.
