Power supply recommended for SLI R600?

Honestly, I wouldn't use the Corsair for a pair of R600s. Even if the rumors of 240W power consumption per card turn out to be false, the cards will still each use an 8pin and a 6pin PCI-E connector. The Corsair has only two native 6pin PCI-E connectors, and that would mean a lot of adapters.

Until the cards are actually released, it's hard to say for sure. At this point, I'd be inclined to look for something with at least 750W, and be very careful about the rail distribution if it's a multi-rail unit. If you end up using a lot of molex to PCI-E adapters, you could easily end up overloading a rail.

I'd also consider 4 PCI-E connectors to be a minimum, with a strong preference towards having at least one of the (correct) 8pin PCI-E connectors.

Yes, that will certainly work. Then again, it's been a while since I've seen a Topower/Tagan that's really impressed me.

Well you can't win everything. :P But that was a heavier model to allow for ocing possibilities with maybe even dual SLI or Crossfire setups! Gee? will 900w be enough? Many want to go sideways with multi monitors these days. For single card use that would certainly be a little overkill however.
