Power Supply Short Circut

Hello everyone, I would like to build a hydrogen generator with a computer power supply providing the 200+ watts it needs to run. I have already modified the 300w LITEON® power supply so it has 4 main voltage rails, +12v, +5v, +3.3v, and ground (negative). I have run into one main problem. The power supply has an auto-shutoff if it shorts out, and it registers running the generator as shorting out. I would like to know how to get rid of this feature so I can operate the generator without spending hundreds of dollars in batteries. If you know how, please tell me in the comments below or leave a link that shows how.

Thanks,

It was just a standard atx power supply and I took it apart, trying to disable the auto-shutoff function so I ripped out a transistor and it broke. I just scrapped it after that.
