the power switch on my case won't work. ive tried unplugging and re-plugging the mobo wires, but my computer will just turn on if i plug it in a sometimes i have to wait a minute before it does anything:(
 
in all atx formfactor boards and btx formfactor there is no power switch, the switch is on the motherboard itself. All the case switch is doing is killing the circuit which in return makes the switch on the board tell the PSU to kick on.

You may have a bad switch on your motherobard, which equals bad motherboard.
