What mother board-power supply-video card-fans do you recommend
for a pro audio computer with three hard drives, q6600, rme fireface 400
video card is for use with nuendo and post audio to video-no gaming
but will be opening long avi files along with audio tracks and such

The Motherboard I choose is ATX, I think it will be fine.
You may need some case fans. 80mm? Check newegg yourself to get one with lowest noise.
Also, Are your HDD and DVD burners SATA interface?
You will need PCI to IDE card if you have more than 2 IDE device.

Why non SATA??
SATA is faster than IDE, unless you want SCSI...
SATA is now the standard.
Programme drive, you will not need more than 30GB for programme in most of the case.
You can get the HDD into partition, such that if you re-install OS, you will not lose the data in other drive. So 2 x 750GB is the best buy for 1.5TB
Or May be 2 x 750GB HDD (Samsang/ Seagate) with 1 x 160GB HDD for OS(Seagate)
-> $331 for 1660GB

Or 3 x 500GB (Seagate) = $330
