Powerline Adapter Question

This is a question I can't find on the internet with an answer.

A family member owns this powerline adapter: Netgear XAVB1601

Now... the question is if I were to buy a different brand and use the same router, would there be any conflictions or would it work just fine?

This is the one I was hoping to buy: D-Link PowerLine AV500 Mini Adapter Starter Kit (DHP-309AV)

After typing my question though Google in about 100 different ways, this forum has the answer: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1780358

So, problem solved if anyone else out there is having the same troubles.

You might get interference using two different models. Usually they sell a model where you can add more units.
