Hey guys, sorry i'm starting a whole new thread on this..But i've messaged Dlink with this question and they aren't responding..and figured you would all know better anyway..
I'm getting a powerline adapter so that I can have a decent connection to my PC (mainly for gaming) and have to plug in the main one upstairs, where the landlord has the internet connection coming in.. and he has the internet plugged into a wireless router, which supplies internet to our smart phones and what not..
So my question is, am I able to plug an ethernet cable in from the router into the powerline adapter or does it have to be straight from the modem? My thought is that it may be coding the internet in some weird way when it passes through the router, that wouldn't be jive with the powerline adapter ... Or am I over thinking it??
Any thoughts and insight would be greatly appreciated guys.
Thanks
