PowerPC and Mac

How exactly do you plan to do that? And the answer is no, I think you would need the Apple BIOS, just like a Gateway would ship with a Windows XP CD that would only work with a Gateway BIOS. But really, how are you going to put a PowerPC CPU into a PC?

you can get images now that will allow u to run mac os on pc and vice versa if that helps but what u are suggesting seems a bit farfetched

If I buy a PowerPC G4-G5 processor and install it into my PC will I be able to Run Mac os X on it?

how exactly do you plan to get the G4-G5 to fit in an intel/amd motherboard? and if you used an apple motherboard... whats the difference between that and a mac?

Mac OS will only run with Apple parts... there aren't any drivers for PC components. So pretty much the closest you could get to having a "Mac PC" is putting a Mac in a different case. As for running the Mac emulation on a PC... I've heard there is around a 95% performance loss by doing this.

So, when are these MACs gonna start shipping w/ Intel CPUs?
Will we then be able to run OS X.x on any PC? This is the first I've heard of this.

Well that's a tad better then the performance loss of running OSX on Mac harware.

:D

No... unfortunately not. Even though the Macs are going to have Intel make their chips, they aren't going to have the same architecture as those chips found in PCs, so Mac OS still won't work on PCs.
