pretty good for <700$ eh?

Once again all new HDD's get back reviews from you don't they? Let's see.. how many posts did you have about Maxtor, Quantum, Hitihachi, WD, Seagate... when THEY first came out?

I said an VAGUE 8800. Never said GT,GTS,Ultra,GTX did I? Hmm?

It takes time for companies to establish themselves. If everyone follows your logic, I can start a computer building company and instantly be known for my reliability and everyone will buy from me. But no...that doesn't happen, because I have to prove myself.

And as for the 8800, I'll assume then you're speaking of the 8800GTS 320, being the worst of the 8800's...

Here's some benchmarks,
http://www.hothardware.com/articles/ATI_Radeon_HD_3870_and_3850_55nm_RV670/?page=5

showing that despite being superior to the 8600gts, the HD 3850 is NOT comparable with ANY of the 8800 cards.

Right below the GTS 320.. he could spend more and get the 3870..

All I'm saying it, judging by the reviews, this HDD is good for it's money.
