Preventing Stuck Pixels

I got a stuck pixel on my Thinkpad a few weeks ago. I sent it back to the seller and he replaced the screen for free. How can I prevent a Stuck pixel from happening again?

i dont think there is a way to prevent them

just try not to stress your screen or let any physical damage happen to it
(i.e. touching the screen with your fingers etc.

It is impossible to get stuck pixels out. I have had one on my LCD Monitor for a few weeks now and I have tried everything. The flashy movie,rubbing,massaging. Everything. I just gave up and got over it.

no matter what people say, there is a very slim chance you can revive the pixel. that wouldnt stop me from at least trying the techniques you mentioned, though.

I've gotten an stuck pixel (red) from my Acer AL1706 by simply soft rubbing. Works seomtimes

One of my monitors had several dead pixels when it got here, and all 3 have since worked themselves out.

Massaging the screen works better than the flashing programs, in my experience.
