Hey,

I'm thinking about selling my machine to recoup some of the money that I'll be spending on an upgrade.

If you guys and gals could give me an idea of it's approximate value that would be great.

Here are my current machine's specs:

Chassis: Antec Nine Hundred *Extra Antec fan (120mm, Blue LED)
Motherboard: Foxconn P45A-S
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor E6420 (4M Cache, 2.13 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB)
Cooler: ASUS V72 (2,500 RPM ± 10%, 48 CFM) *Arctic MX-2 Applied
Memory: 2 x Corsair 1GB DDR2 PC2-5300 (667MHz) *Dual-Channel Mode
Video Card: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 (512MB / 256 bit GDDR5)
Network Adapter: Linksys WMP300N (Wireless N)
Power Supply: Enermax Galaxy 1000W
Hard Drive: Hitachi HDP725050GLA360 (SATA, 500GB, 7200RPM, 16MB Buffer)
Optical Drive: LG GH22LS30 (SATA, DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM, LightScribe)

That's it for the tower, but I also have some peripherals that I wouldn't mind selling as part of the deal.

Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 940BW (19", 4ms, 500:1, 75Hz, 1440x900)
Mouse: Razer Diamondback Gaming Mouse
Keyboard: Razer / Microsoft Reclusa Gaming Keyboard

Lemme know what you think,

Thanks.

I though it would be better you get upgrade for CPU/ mobo/ RAM / Video card. I don't think you can sell as much if you sell as tower.

For the tower, £300-£400 maybe. Adding the peripherals should fetch you another £100 - £150. Approx. based on used prices.

I will likely move the power supply to the new rig and replace it with something else before selling. When I originally bought it, I knew it was more than I needed, but I was sick of not having enough power to upgrade my other hardware :P.

Thanks for the feedback so far,

Keep it up
