I have read in this forum about the cpu price cuts as of 7/22. I was not aware of this happening on a quarterly basis. My question, will the price cuts trickle down to the retail stores, CC BB, and others? Thanks
 
They should eventually, but you are not going to see the prices that Intel quotes in retail stores. Best Buy and others are known to mark up prices so high, because people that usually shop there never bother to check online sites.
 
so your saying Canada computers wont lower there prices at all??? I am guarentted they will because the ydid it for the first price cuts!
 
Everything is sold out at CompUSA and everytime I visit it is, we can have it here by order by next week. I was looking for a 36" IDE Cable and they didn't even have that. CompUSA is one screwed up store.

He was talking about Circuit City and Best Buy mostly, canada computer should reduce them, but it'll probably take longer than any usa site like newegg etc

Im sure they will, since it's an online store after all. But in retail stores, theres really no reason to lower the price since the competition isnt anywhere near as great as it is online.
