Price Drops and other New Stuff!

Price Drops and other New Stuff

I've been hearing about tons of price drops for Quarter 2 of 2007 as well as some upcoming computer items. I've already heard about the processor price drops concerning the Conroes (Core 2 Duo), I decided to paste them below...

But, I've also heard of graphic card price drops such as $100 drop in the price of 8800's. Please fill me in and post other rumors, and already proven price drops.
I've also heard of many new things coming, some later than others, such as higher FSB speed processors (1333 mhz) including the new E6600 which will be named the E6650 I believe. And I've also heard of the E4300 which I guess will be a low costing but high over clockable, speedy processor. If any one has any other information on price drops please post them here because I'm thinking about buying a new computer and am trying to find out when will be the best time to do so.

I have heard of the 8800's dropping by $100, if there is news of this it will appear on this link. http://www.nvidia.com/page/press_room.html
Oh, to get extra info, bug the pressroom people to death, one of them will eventually crack. I know that they have info we don't have. The processor prices will definitely drop, and I am gonna buy on for my new system, not sure between E6600 and E6700.

i dont know about the e6650, you can OC a 6600 to much more than 3.0ghz.

personally the "best" time to buy is early to middle of may. thats when the price drops will have taken effect and many new cards will have come out. that is when i am buying

There is no 6650 coming out, They left the E6600 the way it is and just cut the price. It already has 4mb L2, Intel has no interest in giving it more where as customers were so pleased with it. What do you think will be on a 6650 if it did happen?

OH YEAH, 3Ghz stock, I like that, imagine how far you could OC that 6850. I bet it would reach 3.7Ghz easy and possibly hit 4Ghz.

i hope its a good bargain like less than $400 or so it takes the price of the current E6600 since its price will drop to $224, just like the E**20 models have taken the same price as their predecessors (E**00)
