Price drops

Does anyone have a reliable source on when or if at all the higer end core 2 duos will be comming down in price, or if the quadcore will be under a grand? I searched but couldn't find anything. Thanks.

At first I would say that the quad core will be very expensive (but well worth it) and when it is released the Core2's should start coming down in price.
