Price for selling computer online

Hey, I am new here :D Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.

I am interested in selling my computer and monitor to get a laptop. The laptop that I want is £300 ($488). How much would I be able to get for both? The monitor is 17" flat screen, £160 new ($260) if you buy here: http://www.crystal-net.co.uk/productDetail.aspx?productID=12 It is fine working condition.


The computer is an MSI I am not too sure what model. Although it has:

Intel(R)
Celeron(R) CPU 2.00GHZ
2.00GHz, 512 MB of RAM

I don't know too much about computer but I know that is quite bad :P
So my question is would I be able to get £300($488) pound for both, selling online somewhere like amazon or ebay?

I would imagine you could get that much for both pretty easily maybe a little more. If you where to say spend £25 on some RAM throw it in there you could probably sell it for £50 to $100 more. Throw it on ebay start it out around £400 see if it sells if not drop the price £20 then try again and so on. Or you can try and sell it locally like on Craigs list or a smiler site. I see no reason why you wont be able to get £300 you will just have to keep trying.
