Price my gaming rig...?

would just like to get everybody's opinion

im looking at selling my current PC as i want to build another to run Nvidia 3D surround, here are my system spec's...

MOB - Gigabyte EX58 EXTREME
CPU - Intel i7 920 (2.66ghz)
GPU - Gigabyte GTX 295 (1792MB DDR3)
RAM - 6GB OCZ DDR3 1333Mhz
HDD - 2x Western Digital 500GB 7200rpm Green Power
ODD - Pioneer Blu Ray drive
PSU - Xigmatek 850W Power supply
CASE - Antec 1200 Full Tower Case

now i know i could upgrade quite easy but i have a mate who is interested in my system and i am excited about building another from scratch

so my question is how much would you say it is worth?
would i be asking a bit much if i sold it for $1800 (did cost me $3000)

rule of thumb for selling electronics, only expect half of what you paid. 1500 is probably a bit better, plus your gpu is really cheap now.
