I don't think GPU prices will be back to normal for years yet. Covid has a lot to do with it too, not just mining.

And you can get a mid-range i5 11500 for the low-low-priced of $300!

Prices won't level until mid-2022 at the absolute earliest, and probably not until Q4-2022/Q1-2023.

Who knows nowadays. Personally i'd rather get what I can and be content with that, rather than have no graphics card later on. Prices might drop but on the other hand we might also get more shortages, I really don't know, what one should do, it depends on what you want to risk.

Seems like the downward trend is starting to take hold, will probably tank somewhat rapidly after people attempt to offload all of their inventory prior to bottoming out.
