Print to file

Hi all,
I wanted to take a file from one computer, and print it on another computer. I therefore "printed to file", and transfered it on the second computer.
It's a *.PRN file, and windows (98se) doesn't seem to know what to do with it , and I don't know which program to associate it with. I have MS word, and opened the file but shows a bunch of symbols while reading it.
Any suggestuions how I might be able to print this?

i think you could try opening the control panel, from the start menu, and selecting printers. Dragging the .prn file onto the printer may work, but Im not sure since i dont have a printer.
