Printer help

I was installing the software for my new printer but laf way through an error popped up saying the file usbstor was missing and it could be obtained from the original windows disk.

my dad gave me the disk, but i dont know what to do with it, it wouldnt let me install anythign as the one i have is newer.

I downloaded the driver for this usbstor but the same message still pops up.

please help. thanks.
 
the printer is hp 8200, i cant uninstall it as i havnt installed it yet.

Ive put the file in the correct place, i think, this i what the error says

The file does not exist or is the incorrect version and is required for installation to continue. This file is part of windows and is provided on the windows installation CD.

File: usbstor.inf
Version: 5.1.2600.0
location: c:\\windows\inf

WAHEY I did it, with much lookign around i finally figured out what to do, i went into the hidden inf folder in windows and replaced my current usbstor.inf file with the version it was asking for, and her presto it works, whoopie!
