printer issues, need some help

my printer worked last nite and the printer itself works now, trouble is , its printing blank pages. I have unplugged and reinstalled and cked ink and its all ok. but when it starts printing it goes thru the motions but page is blank.

its a lexmark all in one X125. , like i said, it worked normally last nite but when i tried to print today the page was blank. i unplugged the power cord i took out the USB plugs i restarted my computer. i uninstalled and reinstalled with the CD that came with it and still nothing. i did test pages for color and alignment and its all fine. my guess is its not reading from my computer. i have windows XP.. nothing was touched so i dont know what happened to it.

i do know that from time to time the little red diamond that shows the printer is on and ready in my tray, will look different. and thats when it wont print and then i have to restart comp then its ok again.

could this be a driver problem?? i went to lexmark website and clicked on drivers and downloads and just now installed a driver. i wonder if it will work.

any ideas ? nothing is cked or unchecked, nothing has been touched. i was in MS word and wanted to print a page, and yes i have printed from WORD before and it worked. so i dont know what happened.

Do you only have one printer installed? If you have many make sure you are selecting the correct one. And make sure you only have one copy of that printer installed.
 
its not multiple printers

i have 1 printer and thats not what the problem is. i think it has to do with not communicating with my computer all of a sudden. i was using MS WORD and thats when it would go thru the motions of printing but paper would come out blank. so something is wrong there
