printer making squeaking noise

I have a Brother HL-2170W laser printer. I bought it back in the fall of 2010.

Lately it's been squeaking when the paper is being pulled through and out. At first I thought it needed a new drum, but my drum is less than a year old and we don't do a lot of printing. I think it's guaranteed for like 10,000 pages. I doubt we've even done 500 since getting it.

Then I thought maybe it's the toner itself. So I bought a new one of those. Still squeaking :(

Could it be the wheels that grab the paper and pull it thru? I just don't know if it'd be dangerous to open up printer. I've heard that laser printers hold an electric charge, whereas inkjet printers do not :(

Yeah, it's the wheel grabs. My 5250DN squeaks occasionally, but it still prints fine.

Someone mentioned to me in a different earlier post that I could lubricate my case fans with sewing oil. Do you think I could do same thing with printer wheels, if I can even get to that area?
