Printer not printing

I have installed a Lexmark Z600 at my workplace and it is running the paper through the printer, but not printing any characters. I was printing envelopes with Word and I left it on, I came back to print another and it just ran the envelope through with no characters. :rolleyes: Crazy Printer, anyone know the problem here?

Just checking the obvious...

There are ink cartridges in the printer?
You have removed the sticker and transparent tape from the back and bottom of the ink cartridges?
 
also try to print a test page. it usally requires you to press 2 buttens. it could also be caled a cleen page because it helps clean the inck cartrage. If it cant print it is most likely your printer or cartrage
