Printer not responding

I have an HP G72 laptop, Kodak 5250 printer and a Linksys E1000 router. All of a sudden when I try to print something I get a message saying "Printer not responding", code 105-100003. I have tried resetting everything: shut down computer, shut down printer, unplugged router and modem. I waited a few minutes and plugged in modem, a few minutes later plugged in router, a few minutes later started up printer and a few minutes started up computer. But I still get the same message and cannot print anything. My computer says the printer is ready. What else can I do? Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you mention your router are you trying to print via wireless connection ?

Yes. This is the way I've always done it in the past.

I went to the web site and followed directions until it said "on the computer select Start>Run" Well when I click on the start symbol, I do not see "RUN". I have an HP G72, as dumb as it may sound, where to I find Start>Run?
