printer not showing up in Devices and Printers

Ever since we replaced the motherboard, the HP printer does not show up in Devices and Printers. Tried uninstalling and re-installing several times. PC works fine and the printer works fine, but it is not listed. HP seems to have forums about this but none of the solutions worked for me. How about you?

If the printer works fine, then what's the problem? Or do you mean it can power up? Is the printer using USB? Do other USB devices work?

None of the USB connected devices show up in the Devices & Printers.. which is where I would set preferences, etc.

Reinstall your motherboard chipset drivers.
