Printer not working!? -_-

Sup guys, while since i last worked my way through these forums.. anyways,

My HP Deskjet 5850 is not setting up properly, unfortunately it did not come with any manuals or setup disks and there is nothing else online.

Here is what I have done so far:
- Downloaded all drives possible
- Used the www.HPsupport.com setup wizard (with no luck)
- Tried to search around for a wireless driver (Still, no luck)


ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!

I was trying to set up with a Ethernet (computer + printer on same network) and the laptop hooked up through a USB cable but the computer wizard cannot acknowledge there is a printer connected up to 3 ways....

My laptop: Dell Inspiron 15R - 2nd Gen Intel i7 @ 2.2 GHz + TurboBoost : 8gb DDR3

Looks like it only fully supports windows XP. There is an alternate driver for Vista but no driver for windows 7. You may have to get a new printer.

I got the printer for free from my parents when they said my grandma didnt need it anymore. Im going to hook it up with an older computer (Dell Dimension 8300) that has XP.

The Vista driver may work in Windows 7, it's worth a try. Usually Vista drivers work on 7 too.
