Printer prints a code at the top of the page - Why?

I have a printer (HP Inkjet colour) which is connected to a netgear print server. However, when I print I get this code "INPAIPO,0,127,127SCO,75,0,75,OWU1" print in the top left hand corner.

Why is this happening? And how can I remove it?

Does this happen when it's not connected to the print server? Check in the printers and faxes window of the Control Panel, and in the properties for your computer check for a setting that would have the printer do this. Possibly a network location setting or something...

I haven't tried that as the printer is located else where and cannot be connected to the laptop manually

I would suggest taking the laptop over to the printer and printing something a moment to try to narrow down the sources of the problem...
