printer promlem

ive got a epson printer 415 and all the inks are fine ecept megenta and ive replaced it with anothher one to see if that makes eny difference and it dont so can eny one help

What exactly is the problem? Did you make sure to remove the plastic from you cartridge before you installed it?

Did you go for a while without printing? That particular printhead may be clogged with dried up ink, as the printheads are in the machine and not the cartridge on that particular printer. Does the printer recognize the cartridge or not?

Hi,
It might because of dust collecting on the mirrors inside the printer's optical box.
