Hi the printer i have is epson c66.I did have a lexmark. not now. It seems to be ok now it shuts down ok.My other problem is my printer wont work. A box comes up and says. print to file? Nice idea, but dont think it will help much, your spooler will restart every boot anyway, so if that was going to fix it then it would have fixed itself by now
Do you by any chance have a lexmark printer? They can be trouble with windows xp.
If you still have the printer drivers for your printer (these are the drivers that come on a cd when you buy it) then follow the resolution instructions here

If you dont have the printer drivers, or dont know if you have them or not, then tell me the make and model of the printer (as printed on the front of your printer) and i'll tell you were to obtain the drivers, then follow the above link resolution instructions
