printing problems

I have a Gateway G5026E and a Lexmark printer that came with it. The printer was set up and worked when needed but the print looked blurred, thought it was the printer, tried another printer to the same computer and have the same results.
I've come to the conclusion that it's the computer, can anyone shed some light on what the problem may be?

try re-installing the soft ware or scan for hard-ware changed. or update it. check the printer settings.
