Probably a dumb Question but......

I am a computer novice on the technical side and i'm having problems with my net drop down menu.

It never remembers addresses and passwords are forgotten etc, Autocomplete is on and the only other thing I can think of is so sort of conflict, with Norton I had a similar problem so I got it off my comp but now I am stumped!

Can anyone help?

Make sure Users Names and Passwords on Forms is checked

If you're using Mozilla Firefox then try:

Tools
Option
Privacy Tab
Then check the box that says 'Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar'


If that doesn't work then try the Firefox Add-on:

well, if you are using IE/maxthon you can use Alasend which is safer and have more functions than roboform .
As you said you have many addresses and passwords to remember and the net drop down menu Plugins is not safe enough exactly.
So Alasend which can remember addresses and passwords of websites , icq, msn, skype, wow, warhammer, dark age of camelot and even Auto-login them.
As Alasend is an Individual Programs , it is securer to use .
