Problem defraging

Keep getting this error message.

right click c drive under my computer select properties and then the tools tab then you will see error checking click that tick automaticly fix file errors and the other box click start and windows will tell you it cant do it because windows is running and it will ask if you want to run it next time the pc is started click yes then restart your pc after the windows splash screen you will see the screen go blue and the disk check will start be patient this may take a while
