I'm having problems getting motherboard drivers for a "rebuild". Here, rebuild means converting an XP machine to Windows 2000 Pro. The motherboard is an N1996 by MSI (I think).
Specifically, the USB controller is failing as is the modem. So, getting to the internet, so I can do a Driver Detective type scan is problematic.
I've installed a new modem (dial up, 56k), but that is locking my computer everytime I try to get on the internet.
