Hello, im new to this site. I have a problem install AIM 6.1 Everytime I install it it says This

Your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements to download and install AIM®. You need a minimum of 128 megabytes of memory (RAM), 45 megabytes of disk space, and to be running Windows VISTA, XP or 2K.

I Don't know whats the issue since I am running on AMD XP 1800+ at 1.8GHz, with 512Mb ram, and windows 2000. I had AIM 6.1 install on this same computer. I reformatted the PC now it doesnt work. How do I fix it? please help me out. thank you

How much free disk space do you have ? check your video card too.

I have 34.4GB left of space. I only used 2.34GB. My video card is 128MB. I don't know why it doesnt work now when it did before. let me know what I should do. thanks

Does the system requirements say what SERVICE PACK on 2k you need for AIM? Did you install video card drivers?

yes I install a video driver, and i try using AIM 6.1 with Windows 2000 before. I just reformat the hard drive after it crash on me. it work couple of days ago. I don't know how come i doesn't work now and I get that message every time I try to install AIM 6.1

did you disable or uninstall anything? I know its an Athlon XP 1800+ but 1800+ doesnt mean 1.8ghz...unless you overclocked.

this may seem like a dumb question but u never know....

have you tried restarting?

also try doing a defrag then installing again....just an idea
