yesyes i finally got a new comp

everything is good all is good all is good

well today just right now i installed vista ultimate using my old dvd drive..

well it was taking too long so i canceled the installation forced the shutdown

and tried installing again with a new dvd rom(much FASTER!) but guess what

the computer starts up and in DOS MODE it says that the "boot mgr is missing"
ctrl + atl + del to restart

im guessing that the some of the vista files are still stuck on the HD

well so i have one question can i erase the hard drive by using the BIOS system??

And has anyone experienced this? please help ASAP im so anxious to play cod 4 !!!!

WANT TO ADD ONE MORE

those of you might say just go into boot mode BUT REMEMBER I CAN'T SINCE THE BOOTMGR IS MISSING COMES OUT FIRST

i think you would have to reformat, but i really have no idea how to do that.

I would try hooking up your old DVD-ROM and then reformatting. Once you have a fresh formatted drive you can istall the new DVD-ROM and reinstall your Operating System.
